Co-founded in 1989 by Chris Watchorn, RMS is at the cutting edge of the new technology that comes into the industry. Their ongoing focus towards the client providing them with the best possible solutions; has seen RMS become renowned for their high standard design, construction and workmanship – most recently being nominated by the LABC East Midlands (click to view) for their outstanding work.

KNOW THE TEAM
Chris Watchorn (director)
Chris started his career in the construction industry in 1978 working for a structural timber engineering company designing roof trusses and ancillary products.
After passing his HNC in building studies, his aptitude and talent saw him move through the ranks estimating & designing roof trusses to technical representative & contract managing timber frame housing division within 10 years.
He worked for a national roofing company as contracts manager before co-founding Roofing Maintenance Services Ltd in 1989, where his continued support to industry seminars and courses ensures RMS is at the forefront of new industry technologies.
Chris carries out the role of both contracts director and managing director and still looks after projects from £500k to £1m.
Will McIntosh (director)
Is the latest recruit to the RMS Management Team having been with them now 5 years. Will commenced his professional career in finance with a national finance company in 1979 and has a wealth of experience in the financial sector.
His responsibilities within the RMS are to ensure the company’s supply chain which supports the client’s budgets whilst continuing their renowned quality. Being in a very competitive market, service is everything and Will’s dedicated to maintaining RMS’s service heritage which gives them their edge.
In addition, Will project managed a £1.2m conversion of an old mill into 24 apartments in Leicestershire which has been nominated for the best residential conversion in 2009 for its recognition in the high standard of design, construction and workmanship (visit news for more details).
Andy Scott (sales manager)
Andy has been working in the Roofing industry since 1978, employed in technical
sales for seven years by one of the UK’s largest distributors of asbestos cement
roofing and building products.
He moved on to work for a Leicester based Roofing supplies and distribution centre before joining RMS in 1992 as sales manager, where his background has helped introduce new technological products and services.
